Varun Dhawan thanks fans for waiting for three hours to watch October

Mumbai, Apr 14 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has thanked two of his fans, who had waited three hours to watch recently released Hindi film October.

Maryam Khan tweeted Varun saying she and her movie partner had to wait for three hours to see the film as there was a technical fault at the theatre house.

The show, which was scheduled to begin at 6.20, started at 9.30 causing inconvenience for them to drive back home.

Maryam tweeted, "We drove almost 2 hours to the theater, 2 hours back home, the theater had technical difficulties & instead of showing at 6:20, we waited until 9:30. Reached home by 1:30 am & your film, your acting, was totally worth it! Excellent,Varun! #October is beautiful!"

Replying to Maryam's tweet, Varun said on the micro-blogging site, "Thank u so much for waiting and sorry for the inconvenience. I’m glad you guys enjoyed #october early lots of love also love the Tshirt #october"

The film has released in 1683 screens in India and 625 overseas.

Apart from Varun, October stars Banita Sandhu in one of the lead roles.

The film has been directed by Shoojit Sircar.
