Vaani Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt to feature in Ranbir Kapoor's Shamshera

Mumbai, May 14 (IBNS): Makers have confirmed that actress Vaani Kapoor will be a part of upcoming Bollywood movie Shamshera.

Vaani tweeted: "New Beginnings  #KaranMalhotra #RanbirKapoor @duttsanjay @Shanoozeing @ShamsheraMovie."

The movie will also features actor Ranbir Kapoor in his new avatar.

The first look of the film and Ranbir has already triggered excitement in the hears of audience.

Actor Sanjay Dutt will play the character of a villain the film.

"ITS OFFICIAL... Vaani Kapoor in #Shamshera... Stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role... Sanjay Dutt to play the merciless villain in the film... Produced by Aditya Chopra... Directed by Karan Malhotra... Starts 2018-end... Shooting will wrap by mid-2019," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Shamshera is helmed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Yash Raj Films boss Aditya Chopra.

The movie is scheduled for a 2019 release.

Ranbir is playing the titular role in the movie.
