Sui Dhaaga's Chaav Laaga song traces Mamta-Mauji's journey

Mumbai, Aug 27 (IBNS): Actors Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma were in Jaipur on Monday to release Chaav Laaga song from their upcoming Hindi film Sui Dhaaga.

Anushka has herself shared the video of the track which runs for 2:52 secs.

In the song, Mamta and Mauji, the characters played by Anushka and Varun respectively in the film, could be seen on their quest.

The film's plot resonates Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make in India campaign, which was launched in 2014.

Prior to the song release in Jaipur, Anushka tweeted an image where the actress could be seen with her co-actor along with several of their fans.

Anushka said in the picture, "Jaipur mein bhi "sab badiya hai" @Varun_dvn"

During a press interaction earlier in August, Anushka had said she was not sure of portraying Mamta's character in the film. But it was then director Sharat Katariya who had convinced the Pari actress to slip into the role.

Anushka could be seen in a very de-glammed look in Sui Dhaaga while playing a normal girl's role.

Varun was last seen in October, which released in April.
