Mumbai, Aug 12 (IBNS): Meeting actress Sonali Bendre, who has been diagnosed with cancer, actor Anupam Kher called her his 'Hero'.

"I have done few films with @iamsonalibendre. We’ve met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright & a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in NY. And I can easily say,'She is my HERO.'," Kher tweeted.

Anupam Kher also shared an image of the actress on social media.

Both the actors have worked together in movies like 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke' and 'Keemat'.

Sonali shared news of her diagnosis of cancer last month.

Since then several Bollywood celebrities have wished her speedy recovery.
