Shahid Kapoor,Shraddha Kapoor to feature together in Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Mumbai, Jan 9 (IBNS): Actors Shraddha Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had captivated audience with their gripping performance in Haider and now they have united once again for another venture titled Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

The movie will be directed by Shree Narayan Singh.

The film is scheduled to release on Aug 31.

Informing people on the development, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "It’s OFFICIAL... #Haider lead pair reunites... Shraddha Kapoor opposite Shahid Kapoor in #BattiGulMeterChalu... Directed by Shree Narayan Singh [#ToiletEkPremKatha]... Produced by TSeries and KriArj... 31 Aug 2018 release."

Actress Yami Gautam on Sunday said she is excited to start shooting for her upcoming movie “Batti Gul Meter Chalu”.

Gautam tweeted: "Super happy to commence this special journey with @kriarj on ‘ Batti Gul Meter Chalu ‘ :) Really excited for this one #Prerna #Shree @shahidkapoor @ShraddhaKapoor ."

Shahid said he was excited to see her on board in the movie.

"Great to have you on board," he tweeted.
