Sanju earns Rs. 167 crores at BO

Mumbai, July 4 (IBNS): Actor Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju continued to roar at the Box Office as the movie earned Rs. 167 crores at the ticket counters till Tuesday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " #Sanju continues its EPIC RUN... Shows INCREDIBLE TRENDING on weekdays... Eyes ₹ 200 cr+ in Week 1... Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr, Tue 22.10 cr. Total: ₹ 167.51 cr. India biz... Heading for BLOCKBUSTER status."

Sanju has emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year so far.

It released on Friday.

It is based on the life of another Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has also appeared in the movie briefly.

Ranbir, who needed a hit after his recently released movies failed to make a mark in the box office, played the role of Sanjay in the movie.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie has already made a strong mark at the Box Office with both fans and critics liking it.

Apart from Ranbir, the film stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and others in distinct roles.

Since the launch of its first poster and then the trailer, the movie had gained the attention of movie lovers.
