Salman Khan urges people to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary and focus on fit India and Swacch Bharat

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Tuesday greeted the nation on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and urged people to take a pledge to be fit and aspire for a ‘fit India’.

"Celebrate Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi's birthday," Khan said in a video message.

"Give more focus to Fit India. You should also give importance to Swacch Bharat," he said.

Khan posted the video message with a caption that read:"#GandhiJayanti k is mauke pe, Bhai ne bola aapko message dene ko... aur Chulbul Pandey is ready! @PMOIndia @KirenRijiju."

India is celebrating the birth anniversary of country's freedom fighting icon Mahatma Gandhi on Wednesday.
