Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju releases today

Mumbai, June 29 (IBNS): Actor Ranbir Kapoor's latest movie Sanju, where he could be seen portraying the character of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, released on Friday.

he movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

The movie hit the silverscreen amid great buzz surrounding it.

Hirani on Thursday tweeted: "One day to go.... now it’s like waiting for exam results tomorrow. #sanju #RanbirKapoor @rajkumarhirani @FoxStarHindi @VVCFilms #RajkumarHiraniFilms."

Apart from Ranbir, the film stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and others in distinct roles.

Sanju is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt.

Since the launch of its first poster and then the trailer, the movie has gained the attention of movie lovers.
