Priyanka Chopra announces name of her first Assamese production as Bhoga Khirikee

Mumbai, Feb 9 (IBNS): Indian actress Priyanka Chopra on Friday announced that  Bhoga Khirikee will be her first Assamese production.

The movie is going to be a joint venture between  Priyanka’s production house Purple Pebbles Pictures and Easterly Entertainment.

The movie is written by Assam director Jahnu Barua.

Interestingly, Priyanka is the brand ambassador of Assam Tourism.

She tweeted: " This is a truly special project… proud to announce our first Assamese production @PurplePebblePic #BhogaKhirikee (Broken Windows). Equally excited to work with the super talented cast and crew spearheaded by #JahnuBarua #ComingSoon."

Priyanka is currently busy shooting for the third season of American TV series Quantico.

It was Quantico that had brought her fame internationally.

She will also be seen in two Hollywood movies A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic?.

She had made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with Baywatch.
