Makers release first poster of Saina Nehwal biopic, features Shraddha Kapoor

Mumbai, Sept 29 (IBNS): First look poster of upcoming Bollywood movie based on badminton star Saina Nehwal's life has been released by its makers.

Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the character of the sports icon in the biopic.

"Shraddha Kapoor’s first look as Saina Nehwal... #SainaNehwalBiopic began filming from 22 Sept 2018... Directed by Amole Gupte... Produced by Bhushan Kumar," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film is directed by Amole Gupte.

Saina is considered as one of the best badminton players in the country.

Saina is also an Olympic medal winner. 

Filming for the movie based on Saina's life commence don Sept 22.

Biopic on Indian sports personalities have gained popularity in recent times.

Movie shave earlier been made on Indian cricketer MS Dhoni and Milkha Singh.
