Is Ranbir the reason behind delay in Deepika-Ranveer's wedding?
Mumbai, Jun 6 (IBNS): Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are presently one of the most power-couples in Bollywood and talks are very much on air about their possible wedding later this year.
But, according to some reports, the wedding may be delayed and the reason is none other than Deepika's previous love Ranbir Kapoor.
In an interaction with Deccan Chronicle, Deepika's filmmaker friend described how the actress was in deeply in love with Ranbir.
The friend told Deccan Chronicle, "She was looking at a life ahead with Ranbir. She wanted marriage and babies and was even ready to give up her career to be Mrs Ranbir Kapoor. They broke up and Ranbir moved on.”
However, the breakup has somehow created a fear in Deepika's life.
Though Ranveer is fully committed to Deepika, the friend said the latter fears a "heartbreak". "Ranveer is completely committed to the relationship and wholeheartedly devoted to her. But Deepika fears her heart may be broken again and this time she won’t be able to take it."
Deepika and Ranveer have been dating for a long time now and the couple never shied away from displaying their affections towards each other in public.
The 32-year old actress even openly spoke about her depression and revealed that she had to undergo mental treatment.
After break-up with Deepika, Ranbir moved on and was reportedly in a relationship with actress Katrina Kaif. However, the relationship between Ranbir and Katrina too ended.
Ranbir is inow dating actress Alia Bhatt as the former confirmed the news very recently.
