Dia Mirza hosts the Earth Champs Awards at the UN Environment Assembly in Nairobi

Nairobi, Dec 7 (IBNS): Recently appointed UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India, Dia Mirza gathered along with other leaders of the world together in Nairobi, the Kenyan Capital to do her first job as the ambassador to host and celebrate the work done by the young champions of the earth.

he hosted the #EarthChamps Awards at the #UNEnvironmentAssembly, the world's highest decision-making body on the environment with delegates from around 193 countries.

Among those present at the assembly were Head of UN Environment Erik Solheim, former Indian and US astronauts Rakesh Sharma and Mae Jemison, international singer Ellie Goulding and other dignitaries.

An evening with some of the most passionate people from around the world who are international leaders consistently working towards sustainable development with fresh approaches and innovative solutions, Dia is extremely inspired and motivated and looks forward to a cleaner, greener future.
