Badhaai Ho continues its strong run at BO, earns Rs. 115 crores

Mumbai, Nov 12 (IBNS): Ayushmann Khurana's upcoming movie Badhaai Ho has earned Rs. 115 crores at the Box Office till Sunday.

" #BadhaaiHo sprints again, catching speed over the weekend [on limited screens + shows]... Earlier, it was expected to fold up under ₹ 115 cr, but should now comfortably touch ₹ 125 cr [+/-]… [Week 4] Fri 1.45 cr, Sat 2.05 cr, Sun 2.45 cr. Total: ₹ 115.55 cr. India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film, which released on Oct 18, has emerged as one of the major hits of the year.

Not just Ayushmann, Badhaai Ho has a strong casting which include Dangal star Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.

Being a comedy-drama, Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial Badhaai Ho revolves around an elderly lady's unexpected pregnancy which embarrasses her son (played by Ayushmann), particularly in front of her fiance and would be mother-in-law.

Sanya played the role of Ayushmann's onscreen fiance.
