Alia Bhatt calls Ranbir Kapoor 'sunshine' on actor's 36th birthday

Mumbai, Sept 28 (IBNS): Actress Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to wish her rumoured boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor, who turned 36 on Friday, by calling the latter "sunshine".

On Instagram, Alia shared a picture, quite similar to one of her own, in which Ranbir could be seen posing against the sunshine by closing his eyes.

Alia captioned the picture saying, "Happy Birthday Sunshine 🌞🎂"

Incidentally, the actress was also present at Ranbir's 36th birthday celebration, which reportedly took place last night. Alia was accompanied by her mother Soni Razdan.

On Instagram, Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor shared a picture where she called her son a friend, philosopher and guide.

Ranbir, a son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, made his Bollywood entry in 2007 with Saawariya.

He quickly rose to fame with film Bachna Ae Haseeno, which released in 2008, starring opposite his now ex-girl friend and actress Deepika Padukone.

Apart from Bachna Ae Haseeno, some of Ranbir's popular films include Raajneeti, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Sanju.

He is presently working with Alia for Ayan Mukherji's next project Brahmastra.
