Akshay Kumar's 'Padman' to release on Republic Day

Mumbai, Oct 29 (IBNS): Superstar Akshay Kumar on Sunday unveiled a new poster of his upcoming film 'Padman' and also revealed the release date of the same.

The film is scheduled to release on Republic Day, that is January 26, 2018.

Padman has been directed by R Balki.

The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

Padman is a story of Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who created a low-cost sanitary napkins machine.
