Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherji may work together in Bunty Aur Babli sequel

Mumbai, May 28 (IBNS): Actors Rani Mukherji and Abhishek Bachchan had once charmed the audience with their onscreen chemistry and comic timings in 2005 released movie Bunty Aur Babli and now the film can have a sequel, media reports said.

Shooting for the film will begin soon, reports said.

Sources told Deccan Chronicle newspaper that the film will be titled Bunty Aur Babli Again, will soon go on floors. 

“The sets will be constructed in the first week of June in Mumbai and the shoot will also begin next month,” source told the news paper. 

When asked whether Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee will be a part of the film, the source told Deccan Chronicle, “The filmmakers have roped in the original cast and they will start shooting from the next month."

The 2005 movie was directed by Shaad Ali.

It featured Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the lead role.

The movie is also best remembered for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's popular item number 'Kajra Re'.

It was one of the major hits of the year.
