Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar gets strong response at Chinese Box Office

Beijng/Mumbai, Jan 20 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's movie  'Secret Superstar' has achieved to garner positive response in China's Box Office.

Secret Superstar released in India last year during Diwali.

Film critic Taran Adarsh said the movie earned Rs. 43 crores at the Chinese Box Office on opening day.

It hit the Chinese cinema halls on Friday.

"Aamir Khan scores yet again in China... #SecretSuperstar debuts at No 1 spot at China BO... Collects a WHOPPING $ 6.79 million [₹ 43.35 cr] on Fri... Opening day numbers are HIGHER than #Dangal there... SENSATIONAL!," Adarsh tweeted.

Aamir had earlier tasted success with his movies PK and Dangal in the neighbouring nation.

Secret Superstar is a 2017 Indian musical drama film, written and directed by Advait Chandan, and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

The film stars Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, and Aamir Khan.
