The incident occurred at the Conrad Hotel in India's IT hub.

The deceased have been identified as German national Alexander Maximilian Theiss (57) and Slovakian national Juraj Horvat (45).

According to a complaint filed by Alexander's wife, Silvia Ottawa, the victims suffered electric shocks while attempting to get out of the swimming pool, NDTV reported.

The injured have been identified as US national Mathew Desantis (41) and Indian pool attendant Rahul Tiwari (28).

Tiwari reportedly sustained injuries while attempting to rescue the victims.
