New Delhi, Feb 21 (IBNS): To further improve food assortment, affordability and choices for users,  Restaurant discovery and online food ordering service major Zomato has now launched Gold Powerpacks in India.

These powerpacks have been carefully designed after analysing usage patterns and dining habits.

Gold Powerpacks will feature two packs -- ‘Starter’ and ‘Medium’ -- and will come with no expiration date, allowing users to enjoy the benefits as and when they want.

The 'Starter' pack will offer three Gold unlocks to avail the benefits — 2+2 on drinks or 1+1 on food — at any partner restaurant across India for just Rs. 300.

Similarly, the 'Medium' pack will offer 10 unlocks in just Rs. 700.

For the Gold loyalists, Zomato will continue to have an unlimited usage annual pack for Rs. 1,500.

Speaking on the development, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Zomato, said, “Zomato Gold is a significant future growth driver and plays a crucial role in our holistic food vision. Our user-base for Gold has reached to 800,000 with 6000+ partner restaurants, within a year of its launch in India. Jakarta and Manila are growing at a phenomenal pace and have 100,000 memberships and 1200+ Gold partner restaurants in little over two months. We also launched it in Auckland last week. As we continue to take it to new countries and continents, we decided to employ the user feedback to further improve the choices for our users, keeping the USP of the product intact.”

Zomato is working towards solving every step of the food value chain for the user as well as the restaurant community. Zomato Gold is built to benefit all the stakeholders in the ecosystem – members enjoy access to exclusive events and special benefits at some of the best restaurants in the country while helping those restaurants build brand equity, customer loyalty and improve their overall business.

Zomato Gold was launched in India in November 2017 across 11 cities and is currently present across 16 cities - Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai, Nagpur, Lucknow, Indore, Ludhiana, Coimbatore and Kochi. Outside of India, it is available across five countries and seven cities.
