New Delhi, Nov 1 (IBNS): Micro-blogging site Twitter India's head Rishi Jaitly on Tuesday announced his decision to quit the company.

He quit the post after spending four years in the office.

Jaitly tweeted: "Today, after 4 years of user/business momentum in India & the region, I’m sharing my intention to move on to new opportunities, same mission."

Speaking on his future works, he said: "I myself care deeply about the United States, India, emerging markets & intend to devote myself to building bridges in service of my mission."

"While a personal/civic calling takes me to Chicago, I’ll spend significant time in India/Asia, drawing on my past to further tech's promise," he said.
