Samsung launches new range of wearables on Flipkart

Bangalore, Aug 31 (IBNS): Flipkart, a e-commerce marketplace, on Wednesday announced that it will soon launch a brand new range of Samsung wearables including Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Samsung Gear IconX, which will be available on Flipkart.

Fitness enthusiasts can make their pre-bookings from on Wednesday.

Targeted at consumers who like to move and stay active whether by working out or just walking around, Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Samsung Gear IconX are designed to keep users motivated and in a fitness frame of mind round-the-clock with its fitness widgets.

A perfect blend of style, fitness, health and functionality, Samsung Gear 2 wraps itself smoothly around the wrist and is delightfully light and easily wearable, for the amount of sensors and features it packs.
Giving a new meaning to the fitness regime, Samsung Gear Fit 2 displays users’ running route, distance and speed in real time with precision and dedication using its in-built GPS tracks and highly accurate heart rate monitor.

The display and interface is highly advanced and user friendly with a curved 1.5” super AMOLED display that is conveniently large enough to check detailed stats of a workout as well as past trends. Based on Samsung’s Tizen OS, it also has its own app store to explore watchfaces and coaching apps for sports, exercises & diet.

Samsung Gear IconX is a set of cord-free fitness ear buds that are designed to sit snugly in the ears. Designed to free up movement in a workout & built with a heart rate sensor, it tracks your activity and gives updates on essential data from speed, distance and duration to heart rate and calories burnt through a dedicated voice guide.

Moreover, both the Fit2 & IconX are not just highly functional fitness trackers but also music players, with 4GB of internal memory that holds up to 1,000 tracks. Another way to keep the beat going is via Bluetooth streaming. In addition, by turning on the ambient sound mode, you can run to your favourite track while being connected to your surroundings.

Both products can also be synced with the S Health App for more activity trackers, partner apps and detailed stats on food, activity and sleep.
