Samsung India launches Galaxy A50, A30 and A10

Kolkata, Feb 28 (IBNS): Samsung India on Thursday announced the launch of all-new Galaxy A smartphones that come with industry-leading innovations for young millennials and Gen Z.

The new Galaxy A devices have been designed to elevate the smartphone experience to the next level as they are equipped with next generation infinity-display, triple rear camera and a powerful battery to offer an unparalleled consumer experience.

With device features that matter most to the young consumers, the new Galaxy A line will be power-packed with segment first features like Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (Video), Fast Charging technology and Infinity-U Display.

The new Galaxy A smartphones cater to the young Indian millennials and focus on the way they are connecting today.

Today’s consumers actively engage with their smartphones. According to internal data, consumers spend 158 minutes per week on social networking sites and 206 minutes on mobile gaming on an average. The new Galaxy A is set to offer the coolest new action phones with path breaking innovations.

Galaxy A50

Galaxy A50 is the latest addition to Galaxy A brand and will offer unmatched industry leading features. With a triple rear camera, next-gen Infinity-U Display and a powerful battery, Galaxy A50 is the ultimate device to keep you connected to your world.

To offer uninterrupted and immersive viewing experience, Galaxy A50 comes with 6.4-inch FHD+ Next-Gen Infinity-U Display and Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED resolution. With minimum bezels, the device offers a screen to body ratio of 91.6%.

Galaxy A50 packs in a punch when it comes to camera. The powerful new triple rear camera comes with an 8MP Ultra-Wide Lens, with a 123° field of view. This allows you to capture the world almost exactly as you see it, especially when it comes to unrestricted wide-angle photos. Going further, the ultra wide lens of the Galaxy A50 even allows consumers to capture videos in the ultra-wide mode.

The 25MP main camera is equipped with F1.7 lens that allows shooting bright and vivid images even in low light conditions. The 5MP depth sensor with F2.2 lens lets you click picture perfect portraits by allowing to adjust bokeh effect in background.

Galaxy A50 also features Samsung’s Intelligent Scene Optimizer, where the camera categorizes the subject and adjusts the colour, contrast and brightness to instantly optimize image quality. Equipped with on-screen fingerprint unlocking, Galaxy A50 provides intuitive unlocking without changing grip.

Samsung Galaxy A50 is a powerful device and will let the young India consumers stay connected all day long with a 4000mAh battery, 15W Fast Charge technology and USB Type C for faster data transfers.

The Galaxy A50 will come in a comfortable slim design and smooth curved shape, and will be available in three new colour options: white, blue and black inspired by scattered light.

Galaxy A30

Galaxy A30 is created for a seamless mobile experience, and includes advanced camera features such as a dual camera of 16MP (F1.7) + 5MP (F2.2), including an Ultra Wide-angle lens.

Equipped with a powerful 4,000mAh battery and a 15W fast charging technology, the smartphone is for those who are on-the-go all the time. The edge-to-edge 6.4” Super AMOLED Infinity-U display offers an immersive experience, ideal for gaming, watching videos, multi-tasking and browsing – truly letting you live your life on-the-go without missing a moment.

Galaxy A30 has an ergonomically designed rear fingerprint sensor. It will be available in red, blue and black colours.

Galaxy A10

Galaxy A10 comes with 6.2” HD+ Infinity V display, 13MP rear camera with F1.9 aperture and a 5MP front camera with face recognition. It will have a battery of 3,400mAh capacity and will be available in red, blue and black colours. 

Price and availability

Galaxy A50 will be priced at INR 22,990 for 6/64GB and INR 19,990 for 4/64GB RAM memory variants. Galaxy A30 will be available for INR 16,990 and Galaxy A10 will be priced at
INR 8,490.

The devices will be available starting March 2, 2019.
