Samsung flags-off 99 customer service vans to ramp up reach to every corner of eastern India

Kolkata, Jan 19 (IBNS): Samsung India on Thursday announced the launch of its Service Vans to provide world-class service to Samsung’s customers in the eastern part of India, right at their door steps.

Daniel Park, Vice President, Global Service Team, Samsung Electronics and Anurag Prashar, Vice President, Customer Satisfaction, Samsung India flagged off 30 Service Vans for West Bengal (covering 117 talukas), 25 for Bihar (covering 236 talukas), 11 for Jharkhand (covering 48 talukas), 22 for Odisha (covering 109 talukas) and 11 for Assam (covering 47 talukas) to boost its overall rural outreach in East India, in the presence of key dealers and distributors.

Each van is equipped with a DG set and key fixtures, enabling multi-skilled service engineers to provide quick response and on-spot resolution of complaints. This unique customer service initiative for consumers across India was launched in October 2016 and will see a total of 535 Service Vans connecting 6,000 Talukas.

Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Prashar said, “At Samsung it is our constant endeavour to provide the best customer service to our consumers. With this initiative our customers in rural India will enjoy the same level of speedy and high quality service as urban customers. We are committed to provide the very best of customer service for our customers across the state, especially in rural area.”
