Russia-China trade dropped by 4.5 pc year-on-year to $8.1Bln in Jan: Customs Service

Moscow, Mar 11 (Sputnik/UNI) Trade between Russia and China decreased by 4.5 per cent in January compared to the same period last year, totaling $8.07 billion, the Russian Federal Customs Service (FCS) said Monday.

Russian exports to China fell by 13.2 per cent to $4.06 billion, while imports went up to $4.01 billion, showing a 6.3 per cent growth.

The FCS noted that China's share in Russian foreign trade over the given period increased from 17 percent to 17.2 per cent.
