Nissan India appoints Sanjay Gupta as vice president Marketing

Mumbai, Dec 18 (IBNS) Nissan on Friday announced the appointment of Sanjay Gupta as Vice President – Marketing, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd., effective Dec 21.

Gupta will report to Arun Malhotra, managing director.

In this role, Gupta will be responsible for developing creative marketing strategies across product range and defining pricing, positioning, promotion and implementation of these strategies to deliver results.

“Sanjay Gupta has a consistent record of high performance and extensive experience in automotive sales, service, and marketing in India. I am happy to have a seasoned leader like him join us to accelerate Nissan’s progress in a dynamic market like India,” said Arun Malhotra.

With over two decades of experience in the automotive and engineering industries in India, Gupta has worked with organizations like Hyundai Motor India Pvt Ltd, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd, and Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. Till recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at M3M India Limited. He has successful track record of establishing brands and making them distinctive and remarkable amidst a highly competitive market.
