Market remains cautious ahead of Assembly Election results, end flat on Friday
Mumbai, Mar 10 (IBNS): The Indian market, cautious about the results of the just concluded Assembly Elections, ended flat on Friday with BSE Sensex up 17.10 points at 28946.23 and NSE Nifty up 7.55 points at 8934.55.
But the market breadth remained negative with about 1,164 shares advancing and 1,638 shares declining.
Some of the top stocks that gained on Friday were Bharti Airtel, Bosch and Larsen & Toubro while Tech Mahindra, BPCL, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Auto declined.
