Bangalore, Dec 9 (IBNS): Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology, outsourcing and next-generation services, on Wednesday announced that it has been positioned as a 'Leader' in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Application Testing Services, Worldwide, 2015. Authored by Susanne Matson and Patrick Sullivan, the Magic Quadrant evaluated 17 providers' capabilities to offer application testing services.
According to Gartner, ‘Leaders are performing well today, gaining traction and mind share in the market; they have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.

Leaders generally have a global client base; a track record of complex, global engagements that support business transformation; and well-balanced business, process, and industry consulting, implementation and service management capabilities that are supported by rigorous tools and methodologies.’

Ravi Kumar, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Delivery, Infosys said, "As enterprises become digital at an ever-accelerating rate, their application footprint is increasing dramatically, in various areas. These applications are increasingly built using agile methodologies, and delivered on the cloud, requiring integration of software development with operation and testing. "
