Indian Market: Sensex down by 222.14 pts

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday slipped by 222.14 points to settle at 38,164.61 on profit booking by local operators at higher level.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell by 64.15 points at 11,456.90.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 38,564.71 and 38,089.36 points respectively.

The Nifty registered day's high and low at 11,572.80 and 11,434.55 points, respectively.
