Indian market closes on subdued note on Thursday

Mumbai, Nov 2 (IBNS): The Indian market closed lower on Thursday with BSE Sensex down 27.05 points at 33,573.22 and NSE Nifty down 16.70 points at 10,423.80.

The market appears to be concentrating on the corporate earning session after digesting the outcome of the US Fed policy meeting, according to media reports.

Top gainers on Thursday included Idea Cellular, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's Labs, Aurobindo Pharma, Cipla, and Coal India while Hero Motocorp, SBI, ONGC, ITC, Tech Mahindra Bharti Infratel, Hindalco and HUL declined.
