Indian market closes in positive on Tuesday

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Key Indian benchmark indices closed higher on Tuesday with BSE Sensex up 165.87 points at 34,616.64 and NSE Nifty up 29.70 points at 10,614.40.

Positive cues from Asian markets were largely the reason behind the gains, reports said.

Some of the key stocks that posted gains on Tuesday were Reliance, Yes Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Adani Ports, M&M, and ICICI Bank while Hindalco, Wipro, Infosys, Tata Steel, SBI, Tech Mahindra and Vedanta were some of the key stocks that reported a loss.
