Indian Cabinet approves MoU in the area of Renewable Eneergy signed between India and France

New Delhi, May 23 (IBNS): The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and France in March 2018, in the field of Renewable Energy, was approved by the Indian Cabinet on Wednesday.  

Both sides aim to identify research/ demonstration/ pilot project between National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), India and Commissariat aI'EnergieAtomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA), France in mutually identified areas, a government release said.

Based on mutual agreement, both parties are expected to work for implementation and deployment of pilot project in ISA member countries.

Collaborations will include joint research projects, joint R&D, joint workshops, Research and Technology exchange including exchange of domain experts.

The MoU also aims for exchange of expertise and networking of information.
