Indian benchmark indices close flat on Thursday

Mumbai, Feb 22 (IBNS): Indian benchmark indices ended flat on Thursday, with BSE Sensex down 25.36 points at 33819.50 and NSE Nifty down 14.75 points at 10382.70.

Top gainers on Thursday included Sun Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Adani Ports, Kotak Mahindra, M&M and IndusInd Bank while BPCL, Idea Cellular, ONGC, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaja Auto, Dr Reddy's Labs and Power Grid Corp were among the key stocks that declined.

Meanwhile, the ED has  frozen share and mutual funds worth Rs 94.52 crore of the Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi groups while CBI has sealed a luxury property of the billionaire  in connection with the  Rs 11,400-crore Punjab National Bank fraud case, media reports said on Thursday.
