California, Jan 16 (IBNS) Days after Mark Zuckerberg pledged to donate 99 per cent of his company shares to charity, another Facebook top-gun followed the same path as COO Sheryl Sandberg donated an estimated 31 Million USD in FB stock to charity recently.

According to sources, the 46-year old donated 290,000 Facebook shares to various charities, the value of which is estimated to be around 31 million USD.

The shares are presently with Sheryl Sandberg Philanthropy Fund, a donor-advised fund, techworm reported.

Reports also states that Sandberg signed The Giving Pledge in 2014, where wealthy people give away their wealth to charities.
