Everest launches coloured roofing sheets

Kolkata, Mar 19 (IBNS): Building's roofing solutions manufacturer Everest on Thursday launched its new coloured fiber cement roofing sheet- 'Everest Super Colour' in the West Bengal market through a press conference here at the Golden Park Hotel in Kolkata.

The senior vice president and head of roofing business of Everest Industries Ltd. Rahul Chopra, zonal head (East) of Everest Rajeeb Choudhury and West Bengal state head of the company Manoj Mohta were present at the announcement event.

Rahul Chopra said that the new coloured roofing sheet would give the building a special look.

"Everest Super Color makes roofing a colorful idea for our customers with its attractive terracotta red color, while at the same time making it free from algae and leakage," he said.

Chopra told IBNS that they had already commenced production of the new product from their latest state-of-the-art production facility in Somnathpur at Balasore in Odisha.

"We also have plans to start production of Everest Super Colour sheets at our 8 manufacturing units including Garden Reach unit in Kolkata," he added.

Manoj Mohta said that West Bengal was a very good market for Everest.

"A huge number of people of WB's rural areas prefer our roofing sheets. Hope, this new product will be the most preferable roofing solution in Bengal, because this colour is totally processed and stays lifetime," he said.

The Everest Super Colour sheet is priced at 24-25 Rs per sq ft and is available in various sizes like 1.05, 2, 2.25, 2.50,2.75, 3, 3.6 meters.
