Kolkata, June 5 (IBNS): Airlines major Emirates  has been recognised with three prestigious awards at the BIAL Pinnacle Awards 2018.

The airline was awarded Customer Choice Airline of the Year – International Full Service, Airline of the Year – International Full Service and Best International Cargo Airline by the Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL).

Since the institution of the Awards in 2014, Emirates has been honoured 14 times – a testament to the airline’s commitment to the Bengaluru market.

“It is a great honour to be recognised by BIAL year-on-year for our continued efforts to deliver the best customer experience possible both on-ground and on-board.” said Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Emirates Vice-President, India and Nepal. “This is a reflection of our constant endeavor to provide a superb value-for-money proposition through world-class product and service to our customers. We would like to thank BIAL and all our customers and industry partners in Bengaluru for their long-standing support over the years. It’s been a remarkable journey, and we look forward to offering further choice and enhanced experience to our customers.”

With 21 weekly flights, Emirates’ service to Bengaluru has proven to be an indispensable choice for travelers. Over the years, many customer experience initiatives were launched, including in-flight baggage notification for delayed baggage, home-printed boarding pass, while registering on-time performance that exceeds industry standards. In FY2017-18, more than 6.8 lakh passengers, including infants, were carried by Emirates in Bengaluru.
