Core infra industries output incrase by 4.9 pct
New Delhi, Jan 2 (IBNS): India's core infra industries output increased by 4.9 per cent in November, officials said.
The Eight Core Industries comprise nearly 38 % of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP).
"The combined Index of Eight Core Industries stands at 178.2 in November, 2016, which was 4.9 % higher compared to the index of November, 2015. Its cumulative growth during April to November, 2016-17 was 4.9 %," read a government statement.
