Club Enerji programme strengthens its content modules

Mumbai/ Kolkata, Sept 17 (IBNS): Club Enerji, Tata Power's nationwide movement, announced today that the Company is strengthening its content modules, reiterating its commitment towards nation building.

Focusing on building responsible citizens, Club Enerji has formed an advisory panel which is widely represented by eminent organisations and NGOs such as Care for Environmental Research and Education (CERE), Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA), REACHA, children’s publications such as Robin Age, and schools such as DAV Public School, Thane, and Oxford International School, Kandivali (E). 

The advisory panel will work towards creating modules that will widen the scope of the existing module and make it more expansive (deeper penetration in India and internationally). The panel conducted its first meet recently and converged ideas towards boosting the content.
 
Urging children to become responsible citizens, the advisory panel will focus not only on conserving energy and natural resources (like fossil fuel-coal, oil, gas, water, managing waste, afforestation) but also imbibe civic and moral values among children. The competent advisory panel understand children and their way of learning and is dedicated to create content that is well received by children in a suitable format. The objective of the initiative is to provide innovative and comprehensive content, thereby reinforcing the ultimate aim of nation building.

In its spirit to boost the programme, Anil Sardana, MD & CEO, Tata Power, said, "As part of our centenary year celebrations, we have enhanced our Club Enerji programmes to encourage children of today to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. Our present initiative of advisory panel includes representatives from educational institutes and NGO’s who understand the way of learning and hence will contribute to a comprehensive content base. This will be definitely beneficial towards children’s overall development and further ensure their readiness in their future role as nation builders.”
