Alliance Air starts flight service from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar and Raipur

Bhubaneswar, Jun 5 (UNI) Alliance Air, a subsidiary of state-run Air India today started direct flights from Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport at Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar and Raipur.

The flight service started under the “Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN)” scheme.

The company has introduced an ATR-72 flight on the Jharsuguda-Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda-Raipur routes to link Bhubaneswar-Jharsuguda- and Raipur with direct air connectivity.

An official of the Alliance Air said the flight left Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar at 0950 hrs and arrived in Jharsuguda at 1100 hrs. The flight will leave Jharsuguda at 1200 hrs and arrive in Bhubaneswar at 1305 hrs.

The flight from Jharsuguda to Raipur is scheduled at 0515 hrs tomorrow.

The flight will land at Jharsuguda Airport at 1010 hrs from tomorrow onwards and take off at 1035 hrs after a brief stopover of 25 minutes every day.

Spice Jet had already launched flight services from Jharsuguda to New Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata under the UDAN scheme on March 31 last.
