The inauguration took place in the presence of Alcove Realty's Chairman, Amar Nath Shroff and Directors, Ajay Kumar Shroff and Yashaswi Shroff and Chief Architect Hafeez Contractor.

Spread across more than 28 acres of land, ‘New Kolkata’ is sub-divided into three parts.
While Part 2 (called Sangam) and Part 3 (Prayag) constitutes Residential towers, Part 1 (Triveni) is dedicated to the Commercial amenities.
Speaking on this occasion, Amar Nath Shroff said: "Project ‘New Kolkata’ is all set to redefine the standard of living of Serampore and Bengal by creating a unique township model that is a city within the city."
"It is going to bring about a remarkable change in the lifestyle of the people, by providing all the luxuries of quality living along with excellent connectivity to Kolkata. Affordable, well-equipped and well-connected living by the Ganges is now a dream come true at New Kolkata.”
Padma Bhushan awardee, Hafeez Contractor has created an inimitable architectural design.
The buildings have an architectural plan with 85% of the flats facing the Ganges.
Contractor said: “I strongly believe that every Indian should experience the pleasure of owning a house, and it is a pleasure to be associated with New Kolkata, which has helped me work towards my passion of Social Housing."
"Alcove Realty’s vision of providing quality living at affordable prices has been realized through New Kolkata, and it has indeed been an incredible experience seeing it come alive" he added.
