The list includes comedian and actor Jim Carrey, author of "The Handmaid's Tale" Margaret Atwood and several other journalists, as permedia reports.

Journalists barred from entry to the Kremlin include CBS's Murray Brewster, Adrienne Arsenault, and Margaret Evans, according to

Now 1,005 Canadian nationals face Russian sanctions, including a travel ban, according to a full list issued by the Ministry.

The latest Russian sanctions comes "in response to the practice, implemented by Justin Trudeau's regime, of imposing sanctions against the Russian leadership, politicians and parliamentarians, business representatives, experts and journalists, cultural figures," France 24 reported citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
