EgyptAir flight disappears from radar

Cairo, May 19 (IBNS) An EgyptAir flight, which was flying from French capital Paris to Cairo, disappeared from the radar on Thursday.

"An informed source at EGYPTAIR reported that EGYPTAIR Flight No MS 804 has lost communication with radar tracking system at 02:45 (CLT)," the airlines tweeted.

It said  the flight was flying at a height of 37,000ft and disappeared after entering the Egyptian airspace with 10 miles.

"EGYPTAIR has contacted the concerned authorities and bodies and inspection is underway through the rescue teams," read the last tweet issued by  EgyptAir.

The flight is carrying 59 passengers and 10 crew members, reports said.
