NEW Delhi/IBNS: FCRA licenses, required for foreign funding, of over 12,000 NGOs have expired as their scrutiny for approval is underway, the Home Ministry said this morning.

New Delhi: Amul vice-chairman Valamji Humbal has asked Indian PM Narendra Modi to ban People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after the NGO suggested  Indian diary giant Amul to capitalise on what it called India’s and indeed the whole world’s readiness for vegan milk and food.
