Omar 'happy' over Rasool's ODI debut
Srinagar, June 15 (IBNS) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday said he is happy to see Parvez Rasool, the cricketer from his state who made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the national side, taking wickets against Bangladesh in the first match of the series.
" So very happy for Parvez Rasool. He's got his 1st ODI wicket with the dismissal of Anamul. Let's hope this is the 1st of many, well done," Abdullah tweeted.
Rasool picked up the wickets of Anamul Haque and Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.
He finished the match with a figure of 60 for two in his 10 overs.
India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets by D/L method on Sunday.
