Los Angeles, Oct 4 (IBNS): Emily Blunt's role in ‘The Devil wears Prada’ is remembered till today as she drew rave reviews for the same.

After delivering memorable performances, the actress is now set to play an Alcoholic on celluloid.


The Golden Globe nominee, is to be seen playing a divorcee who is grappling with the condition of being a Alcoholic in The Girl on the Train.


In order to get into the skin of the character, Emily observed the mannerisms and the nuances of many a Alcoholics.


The actress invested into weeks of in depth research in order to play the role with conviction.

Emily Blunt is known to give terrific performances in all her movies and the actress always brings life to her onscreen characters, by portraying them with utmost conviction.


‘The Girl on the Train’ is a psychological mystery thriller film based on the bestselling novel of the same name by British author Paula Hawkins.


The film, an adaptation to 2015's best selling novel 'The Girl on the Train' is known for its intriguing storyline.


‘The Girl on the Train’ is helmed by Tate Taylor and is produced by DreamWorks Pictures and Reliance Entertainment.


The film is set to touch the Indian shores on Oct 7.
