New Delhi/IBNS: The Delhi Police has denied permission for singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s concert scheduled to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30, media reports said.

The permission was denied citing security concerns.

Security concerns cited

In a letter to ticketing platform BookMyShow, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South District) said the application to organise the Diljit Dosanjh’s Aura India Tour Delhi concert had been examined.

According to Hindustan Times, the letter stated, “In view of the specific threat-related inputs, coupled with the multifarious security and law & order commitments arising out of the ongoing festive season and other important law & order concerns, the same cannot be acceded to.”

The application was dated October 14, 2026, and sought permission to hold the concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30.
