Guwahati, Mar 26 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Assam's Tinsukia district on Saturday, said that he will suffer a personal loss post the state elections.

Modi said, "I will suffer a personal loss after the elections. A fine Union Minister will lead Assam after the polls."

Modi was referring to Sarbananda Sonowal, the present Union Sports Minister and BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for the state polls.

The PM is set to address five rallies in the space of few hours on Saturday.

Tweeting about the same, Modi said, "Will campaign in Assam today. Shall address rallies in Tinsukia, Majuli, Bihpuria, Bokakhat and Jorhat."
