West Bengal has only witnessed downfall: Amit Shah slams Mamata Banerjee

Howrah, Jan 25 (IBNS): BJP President Amit Shah on Monday addressed a rally in Howrah where he used the platform to attack West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said she has taken the state to the path of downfall in the name of change.

"West Bengal has only witnessed downfall during your tenure," Shah said while addressing a rally.

"She has not brought any change in the state," Shah said.

Attacking the Chief Minister, the BJP president said Mamata Banerjee is engaged in 'vote-bank politics' in West Bengal.

"She has made West Bengal a centre of anti-national activities," Shah said targeting Banerjee.

Shah urged people of West Bengal to give a chance to the BJP to form a government in the state.
