Srinagar, Feb 7 (IBNS): National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Sunday clarified that his party will not form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He asked PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti  to clarify her stand on forming the government in Jammu and Kashmir.

"We had closed the doors for the BJP a year ago and the doors continue be to closed even today," Abdullah told reporters.

Speaking on the issue of forming the Jammu and Kashmir government, Abdullah said: "Mehbooba Mufti must clarify her stand on the issue."

Abdullah said if Mehbooba Mufti  was not ready to form the government in the state then should be bold enough to break the alliance.

"We will go back to the people," Abdullah said.
