WB: 2 children accidentally burnt alive at brick kiln in Hooghly

Kolkata/Hooghly, Feb 14 (IBNS): Two children reportedly fell into the burner of a brick kiln and died at Tanni under Pandua Police Station area in West Bengal's Hooghly district on Sunday.
According to reports, two sisters- Swapna and Nandini Rajbangshi, whose parents work in Deshbandhu Brick Works, were playing in the campus of the brick kiln in the morning and suddenly fell into the live burner of the brick factory. They were reportedly burnt there by the burner's fire and killed.
 
After the incident, local people vandalized the brick kiln, manager's office and owner's residence.
 
However, a huge police force rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The burned body parts of two children have been recovered from the burner.
 
Police have started investigation into the matter.
