Vijay Mallya again misses meeting with ED, asks for more time

New Delhi, Apr 9 (IBNS) Business tycoon Vijay Mallya, who was supposed to appear before the Enforcement Directorate ( ED) on Saturday, has sought more time till May in connection with the Rs. 9000 crore money laundering case, reports said.

This is the third time that .Malltya, a liquor baron and chairman of the now defunct Kingfisher Airlines for which he had taken huge bank loans, misses a meeting with the ED, which is probing the case. 

The agency  issued its third and final summons to Mallya to appear in person before it on April 9.

Mallya on Friday informed ED officials that he wanted a fresh date in May to appear before it.
